Rules
The short version: free points, real proof, no gambling.
Pulse Points
Pulse Points are free. They cannot be purchased, transferred, or redeemed for cash or real-world rewards. They exist for leaderboards and bragging rights only. Lurkers is not a gambling product and never will be.
Predictions and picks
Every prediction has a close time or close condition, a written resolution rule, and a per-user point cap. One pick per user per prediction. Picks lock at close time. If a scene resets or a prediction becomes unresolvable, it is voided and every committed point is refunded automatically.
Outcomes and proof
Outcomes are resolved by curators with proof: clips, VOD timestamps, or written resolver notes. Every resolution is audit-logged. If you think a call is wrong, open a dispute during the dispute window and a different reviewer will take a look.
Sentiment votes
After an outcome resolves you get one sentiment vote per outcome: how the room felt about it, plus optional judgment and stance tags. Aggregates are public; individual votes are not.
Creators
Creators can claim their channel and opt out of appearing on Lurkers at any time. Events tied to an opted-out channel require admin review and existing pages are removed or anonymized on request.
Fair play
No spoiler sniping from backstage info, no vote brigading, no curator conflicts of interest. Curators cannot resolve predictions they picked on. Break the rules and picks are voided, points are reversed through the ledger, and repeat offenders lose access.
